Vegan Pesto
- 1-2 cups fresh basil option to add spinach/arugal
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup pine nuts sub walnuts
- 1 fresh squeezed lemon juice could use tangerine
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast or a high quality hard cheese
- 1 tsp salt
Ingredients:

- 1/4 cup pine nuts sub walnuts
- 1-2 garlic cloves minced
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast or a high quality parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp salt
Directions:
Mince the garlic
In a food processor place the wet ingredients in first, then the greens, nuts, cheese and salt. Pulse for 1 mins stop and scrap sides down to the bottom pulse again 1 min, continue until you reach desired consistency
Top over your favorite pasta, fish or meat
